Jerry Cebrzynski has been in the financial aid profession for 33 years, most recently as Associate Vice President for Financial Aid at Lake Forest College. Before joining Lake Forest, he began his career as Financial Aid Counselor at DePaul University in Chicago. At Lake Forest, Jerry performs outreach activities both on and off campus, and has had an extensive number of speaking engagements at various high school programs on financial aid. Jerry has served as an elected member of the National College Board Advisory Council, as an elected College Delegate to the National Assembly for the National Association for College Admission Counseling and as Vice-President of the Illinois Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. He is a sought-after member for many committee and scholarship boards because of his expertise. Jerry has also been a guest financial aid expert on Good Morning America, CBS News, and WGN-TV
Gloria Mueller has been in education for 34 years. For the last 17 years of her career, she worked as Coordinator of College Career Counseling at Glenbrook South High School, where her responsibilities included being part of the administrative team and working with juniors, seniors, and their parents in the college planning process. She coordinated the day and evening college programs and was responsible for meeting with over 200 college representatives visiting Glenbrook South each year. Gloria served on the College Board, as Chairperson of the Midwest Region and also served as the elected delegate from Illinois on the National Association for College Admissions Counseling Assembly. She has presented topics regarding college admissions, students and parents in the college process, and issues in guidance and counseling, at both the state and national levels. Gloria has been on the faculty of the College Board’s Harvard Summer Institute. She trains high school counselors new to the profession on topics including recommendation and essay writing, counseling the college athlete, and building a four-year college counselling program.
